How the Board of Directors operates
The Board of Directors meets approximately eight (8) times a year. Together, the president and its members, elected at the General Meeting held once a year, develop the upcoming action plan and ensure the proper implementation of the plan presented to members. You can read the president's message on this subject.
The Board of Directors positions the CGLQ as a major stakeholder in the social, political, and economic realities of LGBT people (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals), both nationally and internationally, notably through its consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC. It also works to ensure the organization's long-term sustainability, in keeping with its mandate.
